Simple Steps to Becoming More like Jesus

Five Catalysts

At ACC, there are five tools we call “Catalysts” that we use to propel movement towards discipleship. We all have to start somewhere as we learn about Jesus and how to live like him. These Five Catalysts will help to highlight what your Next Steps might be as you engage in the life of the church and mature in your faith.

  • Worship Regularly

One way to ensure a deeply rooted faith, a faith that increases over time, is to make “gathering together” with other believers a priority. While worship is a daily lifestyle, we see incredible value in worshiping together corporately in our worship services. This is usually the first way people engage with Arundel Christian Church and begin to build their faith.

  • Connect Relationally

It is crucial to your faith development that you connect with smaller groups than what happens during worship services at ACC. These groups, called LifeGroups, meet at all different times, and in all different locations throughout our area and do life together!

  • Grow Personally

At ACC we’re passionate about providing opportunities for all people, no matter where they are in the their faith journey, to grow spiritually.

We have what we like to call our “Discipleship Program,” which is designed for you to grow in your understanding and walk with Christ. It is a simple, four-pronged approach:

    1. Discipleship 101: for new believers or those wanting to refresh their foundational understanding

    2. Growth Courses

    3. Apologetics Certificate

    4. Go! Deeper Bible Study Retreat

  • Serve Sacrificially

Serving is an integral part of our mission. Romans 12 reminds us that we are called to be sacrificial with our lives, to offer ourselves as “living sacrifices” for the sake of the Gospel, and that we are all part of one body, with different functions and gifts. We count it a joy to use our gifts to further God’s work in this world, in our community, and in ACC. There are ways for everyone to get involved so click here to try one on for size.

  • Give Generously

Giving is a fundamental part of who God is; we can be like Him when we are generous, too. With a posture of generosity, we are invited to participate in the unfolding of God’s amazing story here on earth, and to support brining the Good News of Jesus to all, near and far.
